The Bir village is the administrative subdivision of Baijnath, in the Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. However, the nearest railway station in Bir is the Ahju station which is a narrow-gauge line that runs between Pathankot in Kashmir to Jogindernagar via Kangra.
